Software Summary
The PlayersOnly Poker software runs fast and smooth with good playability.
All the common functions are there including notes during play and vital table stats like viewed-flop percentage, average pot and hands played per hour in the lobby.
During play, you can also see your own stats right at the table, like how often you see the flop, your win percentage and more.
On the negative side, the note-taking function is a little difficult to use (players are chosen in a scroll-down list instead of being clicked on) and the software offers no mini view or other multi-table help function.
Overall though, the software is very playable, offers nice graphics and makes for a good playing experience.
Statistics
Stats functions in PlayersOnly Poker’s software allow players to take notes during play and to choose preset symbols to “tag” players for easy and visible grading.
Hand histories are saved at a user-defined location on the local hard drive and can be accessed directly from an active table.
One nice function also is the hand history saves the player chat, useful when trying to “figure out” a player.
Multi-Table
The latest version of the PlayersOnly Poker software supports play at 10 tables simultaneously and allows you to sit at any position.
Players can also view an unlimited number of tables and multi-table play is easy and smooth and works well with the stats tools.
Graphics
PlayersOnly Poker graphics are clean and classy. They move fast without using too much computer power and the avatars are nice-looking and lifelike.
The graphics do tend to be a little cluttered, though, and some players may feel it’s hard to get a good overview of the play.
The tables are oval and the felt is a deep red, surrounded by chairs and a casino-like setting.
Special Features
PlayersOnly Poker’s software offers no groundbreaking special features, but most are really useful and help players customize their playing experience.
All sounds and most graphics can be turned off, and the amount of chat text a player wants to see can be chosen.
Extra-appreciated are the in-game stats and the immediate hand-histories. The avatars are also nice with quite a few to choose from.
